I got the following as a 'requirement' for an architect position in Miami, and liked it so much I have referred back to it at least a half dozen times for how I WISH I could do things at my day job, if I were allowed to use the right tools for the job: The Company is currently implementing several complex business integration projects and is seeking an experienced Business Application Architect to assist in the design of a software architecture that will provide for: Message based interfaces, Separation of application logic from integration tasks Reduced complexity and number of integration points Elimination of point to point interfaces Maximum reuse of IT assets Three tiered application environment Minimal interruption of the IT environment when IT application services are added or removed The requirement screams BIZTALK!!!! Case closed.
