I recently had a requirement to develop a component to provide for intercommunication between the various systems at my work with a third party providing garunteed email delivery. They expose an XML API which at first glance I considered to be a little rudimentary for my needs (it wasn't MS asmx web services...). In any event, in past contracting projects I have worked on middleware solutions which extensively used serialization & xsl to convert and transfer objects between disparate systems. This looked very elegant and required very few lines of managed code as most of the business logic was embedded in xsl. I have finally gotten my NC8430 with "HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology" support software running. I had to do some serious searching to find the updated drivers (mentioned previously and in the subject of this post), but found the 5.1 B (25 Dec 2006) HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology Updated drivers, uninstalled my old bluetooth drivers, and was finally able to use my T-Mobile Dash's Internet connection sharing feature. It is actually quite fast, and usable enough to connect to my home machine. Sweet! You can find the drivers here
