Well, after about 30 hours of work (way longer than I expected of course), I have converted about 90% of a Document Management System I got out of a great WROX/APress Book: Building an ASP.NET DotNET Intranet VB WROX (2002) ISBN 1590592565, by Kourosh Ardestani.
Amazingly, I picked this book up about three years to late, as it is entirely written about the original IBuySpy Portal framework, and the author presents numerous great examples of custom module development for DotNetNuke, including a simple library application, extended discussions module, a complex Human Resources module, and a great Document Management System.

I just finished reading State of Fear by Michael Crichton, and was very impressed. I don't think it was his best book ever, but it was certainly action packed and entertaining.
There was, I guess, a need for a charismatic, sometimes not the brightest protagonist to keep the plot moving along, and to act as a sounding board for the various other characters to rail on the theory of 'Global Warming.'
Apparently, 'Global Warming' is complete pseudo-science, and lacks any solid evidence, as the author makes clear through countless references to real scientific papers.

Natalie is doing wonderful, she weighed in today 8 lbs, 3oz, and is 20.5 inches long. She is being nursed 100% (no formula), and her doctor was amazed at her progress!

Where to begin? Lets see, Natalie Kay is doing great. Yesterday, she weighed in at seven pounds, seven ounces, and got a clean bill of health from the doctors office. Lauren is also doing great, and will get her very first report card next week!
Regarding DotNET development, things couldn't be better. I have a bunch of great projects brewing, and a few I have contributed back to the community: a Commerce module based upon the IBuySpy Commerce Starter kit; and two Modules for DotNetNuke 3.0.8: YetAnotherForum VB.NET module, and a Gallery for DotNetNuke 3.x. The gallery module is based upon the great module by David Barrett (http://www.davidbarrett.net) which became the popular TTT Gallery. Both modules have been tested with DotNetNuke 3.0.8.
