This week, I have found several resources regarding Object Persistence Frameworks, as well as learned what Object Persistence Frameworks are, why they are needed, and joined the GotDotNet ShadowFax & Gentle.NET OPF workspaces.
It turns out my original work on an N-Tier enterprise application two years ago was actually an extraordinary example of a highly sophisticated object persistence framework, in that it provided a framework of business objects built at run time utilizing meta data to provide clients a datasource providing a rich set of highly secure data services.
I am interested in both of these projects as although they lack some of the functionality I incorporated into my framework, they are very advanced and in many ways are lightyears ahead of my own work in VB.

Today, April 16, the day after Tax day, we found out we were going to have another baby at around 10:00 PM! Begin boring recounting of the day we learn of the newest member of our family:
Today, like any other day, we got up late, sleeping in from what was a pretty usual Friday night. The morning was laid back, I took the Camaro into the shop to learn that the problem with the rear wheel will require the replacement of the rear axle, requiring an insurance claim. Before going to the Chevy dealership, I went to the Harley Davidson dealership, where I checked out a new sweet white Lowrider for like 17K, and a sweet 2003 anniversary edition Super Glide FXD.
From there, I came home, and Anita went & got her hair cut. She came home, got Lauren & the stupid dog, and went back out for a bit. Then, I took a nap, and when she got back, we went to Subway for linner. Then, we mossied around the vario ...

Anita just got home from follow-up Dr's Appointment this afternoon. It's official! Due date Dec 08, 2004; six weeks pregnant. Who would have known!!
